Environmentally friendly coatings continue to be a hot topic of discussion globally. However, the application of greener coating technologies as well as commercialization have been challenging. This year the CHINACOAT Conference, as a concurrent event of CHINACOAT2018's technical programme, will be held on 3rd and 4th December in Guangzhou, China. The conference theme is "Green Coatings - Advanced Technology & New Materials", which concentrates on advanced, innovative technologies and newly developed materials for Green Coatings. The Conference features 1 Chairman's open address + 13 technical papers related to various aspects, including global trends and technologies, waterborne coatings, powder coatings, bio-based materials, self-healing polymers, superamphiphobic coatings, anti-bacterial dispersions and additives. In addition, the Conference is intended to act as a platform for academicians, researchers, formulators and engineers to share their thoughts and ideas on trends in coating technologies and materials.
