High solid systems and the shift towards waterborne systems have
generated the need for suitable additives with low VOC values.
But it is not just the VOC that matters. Other green aspects
such as theuse of renewable materials are playing an important
role. Furthermore, additives should act as special performer for
protective, aesthetic and functional properties of architectural
coatings. This paper will discuss how additive technology is
rising to these challenges without sacrificing performance. Some
eco-friendly formulations will be presented. |
